Category NoneIf you said "a server room during a three and a half hour blackout", you win! We suffered a grid failure at 7 PM Monday that took out six office buildings, an Office Depot, and the Hooters across Metcalf Avenue. So I couldn't work, couldn't buy toner, and couldn't...well you get the idea.
I did have the opportunity to finish a marketing book by Alan Wiess by emergency light and start a new one, Blog Marketing by Jeremy Wright. I gave up about 9 PM and went home, knowing that my SMS messages would ping me when the power came back. It did so at 10:37, so off I went to fire up one server that was left power-off after the blackout.
Then home to finish my final presentation for Admin2006. And dig through HaikuCommonForms.ntf on a dev server on my laptop. And blog.
Do you ever get too tired to go to sleep? Yeah, me too.
