How popular is Quickr these days?

QuickImage Category None

ID501 at Lotusphere was packed and required a repeat...and the entire SNAPPS team was locked out because it was filled as we arrived!

The sessions Viktor, Troy and Jerald gave on Quickr development and themes were filled.

The pedestal was always busy, as was the stand in the developer's lab.

The Quickr Birds-of-a-Feather was standing room only - I stood behind the bar.

All this seems to bode well.

Gravatar Image1 - Quickr (I still think of it as QuickPlace) has more life in it than anyone outside the Domino world suspects.

Gravatar Image2 - Great to hear, Rob... Long may it continue.

Gravatar Image3 - Quickr will be replacing our Quickplaces (sometime, I believe). At issue is there are two instances of it and they are different, Domino Vs Portal. Each offers its (dis)advantages and I would love to see someone besides us compare and contrast the two offerings. Of our biggest concerns with both products is the size of a page, over 7000 lines of JavaScript to produce one HTML page (not including CSS) can be quite costly in the long run.

P.S. I was lucky enough to get seats in MOST of the Quickr sessions, though I missed the BOF.

Gravatar Image4 - Hello Rob,
sorry for posting something which has nothing to do with the theme of the Blog, but I didnt find any other way to provide feedback on your templates.
I have a created a place in Quickr and have added QSites to try some of your templates. unfortunatly if I add the Blog and klick on it, an error message is displayed. Nevertheless the side builds up and I can work with it. But as soon as I klick on something the error comes again. It says:
error
message=XMLHttpTransport.WatchinFlight Error: [object Error]
type = unkown
number = 0
Can you help me with this?
