Some interesting new Workplace downloads from IBM

Category None

IBM has posted the Workplace Collaboration Services 2.5 API with a bunch of samples for IM, Mail, JSPs, and Workpalce Client Technology. This last guy is (ta-da) undergoing a name change to Workplace Managed Client as you read this.

In the last few days I've also found some interesting goodies on Alphaworks - check out the Collaborative Components Wizard for WCS 2.5, a wizard to get going with WCS component development quickly. Also new on Alphaworks is the SWT Data Binding Toolkit for Rational® Application Developer, which will help with generation of data-binding routines, "providing uniform access to a wide range of relational databases through selected SWT visual components such as tables, text fields, and action buttons".

Lest I give too much thought to Workplace tools and before my head explodes, while you're there pick up the Sametime Plug-in for Trillian. Works like a charm.
