Collaboration University Chicago Day 2
Category Collaboration UniversitySession after session after session (and four more) today. Three tracks with two of them breakout sessions, and a morning "Feedback to IBM" in room three. Then in the afternoon the Connections Lab was open once again, affording attendees the ability to choose their technical level and do one of four activities on the Connections setup. Many thanks to George Brichacek and Lisa Woody for running the labs, and Jelan Heidelberg and Kim Artlip for setting up the feedback sessions - where attendees "voted" on some of the things IBM is considering for future Quickr and Sametime versions. These weren't the only items under consideration, and definitely there are some things that are foregone conclusions - fixes or retirement of antiquated but built-in features.
Overall a very busy, long day. I was pleased to hear applause even toward the end of the day. Means some people were still alive!
Tomorrow, our Sametime and Quickr futures sessions, the "Bringing it all Together", where all the remaining speakers give their "best 10 minutes". Always a favorite, both for us and the audience. Finally, our Quickr admin and development workshops - three more signed up during the conference so we sure hope everyone is good friends when they're in the same room!
