Last night in London
Category Collaboration University UKLUG TravelA wonderful second and final day at UKLUG manning the reg desk, being the official photographer, and taking my true position in the world. Dinner with friends and some people I've never met (some lovely, some a bit snookered) at The Cinnamon Club - a truly brilliant high-end Indian cuisine in Westminster. Then a stop off at the 4-star hotel bar (the bar is in photo 2, our very room is photo 4) for a nightcap before the 4-hour nap under the glow of Parliament and Big Ben. UKLUG has been a big success and promises for more than one reason to be even bigger next year. I'll let others explain that.
In the morning we fly Virgin to Miami, something like 9 hours during which time I'll read, sleep about 4 minutes, and partake of more than one movie - did I mention Virgin's media system is phenomenal?
