Collaboration University open for registration - first week was great - IBM speaker requests?
Category Collaboration UniversityWell last week's opening of Collaboration University registration went quite well, our best opening week ever! I'll share more details as we get closer, but we've also managed to secure some incredible deals on hotels. Unheard of rates for Chicago ($124!!?!) for the first 20 or so people while they last, and an equally impressive £114 for London, also while they last. And these aren't dark alley hotels, they are the places the speakers and organizers are staying.
Early registration is the way to go - you get a $200 USD savings on the reg fee, plus you get a crack at one of these hotel deals.
Now that the sales pitch is over - I want to hear from attendees! The best way to give me feedback is to follow @CollabU on Twitter! But in case you're not a Twitter person, feel free to send email directly to cu2009 at CollaborationUniversity dot com. Here's what I'd like to know:
1. Who from IBM would you like us to invite to speak? We've already sent invitations to the product and development managers.
2. What specific topics would you like covered? We also ask this on the registration forms...so you can answer there too!
3. If you're an alumni, what should we be sure not to change, and what would you like to see done differently? Barring venue changes and massive overhauls, we'll do what we can to accommodate your requests!
Thanks - and see you in September...
