Over the pond, part 1

I'm in Amsterdam for the VIEW Domino Technical Conference, running Oct 12-14 at the RAI convention center. Monday is my busiest day, with three sessions to deliver on Sametime Links, QuickPlace admin and QuickPlace development, and an "Ask the Experts" session after hours. Tuesday I give a session on Domino 6, WebDAV and Dreamweaver, and Wednesday cap it off with an admin session on product integration.
The time zone shift (7 hours) hasn't been so hard, except figuring out a good time to call back to the states. I rediscovered Net2Phone software and purchased a good PC headset for the trip, and am making my calls home for $0.049 per minute...much better than the $1.79 per minute on my emergency backup phone from TravelCell.com. The clarity is amazing...agreed by Libby Schwarz, Chris Miller and James Ray, all of whom used it to touch base this afternoon. And, the phone calls have been over a wireless network at the hotel across the street. Before you get excited about my technical innovation, though, know that I needed someone to tell me how to pick up messages on the Holiday Inn voice mail today...
Next week, after 2 days at home, I'm coming back to London. I think I'll try to stay on European time those 2 days. Anyone think I can get to bed at 5 PM?
